are you dying to see a twist

Jeanie Feng is a 3rd year fashion student studying at derby university. Iv been given the pleasure of working with her whilst she puts together her final collection for the end of year graduation fashion show. Jeanie is inspired by textures such as brick, concrete and rust. She also uses graffiti as a concept for her work as well as the streets....You could call it broken streets... So are you dying to see a twist???

It has to go bad before it gets good...and good it got.

When 1st years was told that we would be assigned to a 3rd fashion student, I already new exactly who i wanted but getting her, well thats just a different ball game..

The lists are in i put my head in my hands nooo i didn't get the third year i wanted i believe the word im looking for is GUTTED!!! However panic over as a cupple weeks later i took my gutted self to the fashion studio to do some work for my 1st 3rd year when ann pulled me aside and told me the news i wanted to hear right from the very start, That i can work with Jeanie Feng for today and for the rest of the time she needs me!!! THANKYOU ANN :)

I first met jeanie when i was pattern cutting in the studio, she was oppisit me doing her pattern cutting for some leggings she was making which had kriss kross elastic from the thighs to almost the end of the feet i new from this she was right up my street. In that hour of her working accross the table from me we spoke about styles and what inspired her and i couldn't stop smiling...Shes someone i can relate to when it comes to fashion and styling we have similar views and like the same things. Graffiti the streets broken textures that make a area look rough which can create a look it can give you inspiration.

Over the next cupple of weeks i saw more and more of jeanies work and was more and more amazed at the talent she has. we developed more of a friendship purely based on the love and yes i feel confident enough to call it love for her work it really captures my eye. I told jeanie that i wanted her as my third year and she said she would like me to work with her as she thinks i have a attitude about me that ties in with her collection my face peircings also helped. When i told her she wasn't my 3rd year she still offered me the chance to model some of her garments which of course i jumped at the chance!! so i still had some inkling with her. BUT  all this became erelevent anyway because not only did model i became Jeanies little helper!!
